Went to college with a formal wear today looking like a lecturer without bag. Or as if Im off to a club later at night as some were saying.
But actually was invited to a seminar held by one fella whom I met a week ago. An owner of one private franchising company, as he called it. Introducing me to his alternative business scheme recruiting me as a part of a team. Cuz he's expanding his network in
Klang, to where Im living right now.
...and Leng Tzi you sold my name didn't tell me ah... Owe me a nice meal dy... see u next week outside LT8... if not you'll see red paint all over with a pig head hanging right in front of your door... lol *
Private franchising, another alternative of direct selling is geared towards you reaching out for people to buy directly from the manufacturer whereby you get a commission out of those you recruited. And all had to be in accordance with a system.
BWW System as they called it. Sounds more like multi level direct selling, but there's a difference...
In which you educate them about the system, showing how to buy in an economical way, indirectly getting income from it as mentioned through commission which is further enhanced by networking. So the more you teach, the more you get. It's like you being the general store itself, with commisions being profits from mark up prices of products sold. And the people you recruited is like another store buying from you. So cash value flows from one to another and everyone gets the benefit as each of them are
'stores'.
A successful one could generate about Rm30k per month within 3 years... from true account
Im still quite uncertain how it works though. Like the money works. How is it gonna cover the wide network of individuals with different status, contact and locations...? And if the product's defective and some legal issues are raised, who's gonna held responsible...? The whole network or the manufacturing company alone?
Not being sceptical or so. But with all the current issues concerning networking and direct selling. One has to be extra cautious whenever they are approached by this kind of thing right...
After all, my family was into direct selling few years ago. Upon some health product. But the company behind the product couldn't handle the wide expanding network so there's some complications. A nightmare...
And the thing is, this guy told me that he's been doing this for the last 8 years already. Yet, still under a small scale I assumed, cuz its still unheard of by many.
Which hits me again...
All the while, manufacturing companies gain their profits from retail stores by selling products in huge amounts. Not mentioning all the exports going on. So its big business with very high turnover. And its been like this all the while since
early humans started trading from the very beginning of the Bronze Age.
So its a natural intuition within all of us already. We customers buy from stores, and stores get all the stocks from producers, in high volume. As mentioned, big business. Now compare this with individuals buying directly from the company using the private franchising system. No matter how wide the network is, the scale is still incomparable with that of a normal business trade isn't it..?
Would you rather sell 10 cargos of shampoos every day or distribute shampoos daily to a network of people where each of them would come back to you about few months later just to get a new one?
See what i mean...
A radical change is needed if this franchising thing were to be a phenomenon. The mindset of people and the way we all live our lives must undergo a dramatic change then. Unless an influential politician is willing to promote this in the country then its a different situation...
Speaking of which, one politician actually attended the seminar. Some ex-deputy minister working under Dr M who already was a veteran in this franchising thingy. And he actually gave his speech about his success from that system, pre-election style. With the crowd behind going wild.
As wild as it could get, the whole crowd, majority already into the business went into monkey mode, clapping and cheering whenever a influential speaker ended his sentences. More like an
underground business occult gathering then a normal seminar. Yet, that's where they boost their confidence and self-esteem. I guess different people have different ways of doing business eh..?
Seminar ended at 10.30pm. Which I haven't cleared my doubts yet and its already the 2nd time. Gonna meet this guy again this Thursday to get some answers. The third time this time.
Remember how the chinese always regard 3 as an auspicious number..? It's always three in a go, the third time and the last.. never the fourth.
Cuz once you reach number 4, you're dead...*So Im gonna be slightly superstitious abit this time round. Who knows it might be a sign from the ancestors... lol
